Friends Prayer, included on this newly released CD is a song that Trudy wrote that cause President George Bush to dub her “Ambassador for the United States Troops” and the song as “The International Anthem”
Just like her previous albums Trudy’s blends soul, patriotism, country, and pop music that result in an electrifying high energy, relaxed heartfelt sound. The Ambassador for The United States Troops has been performing at memorials and other military functions. She is also been seen at sporting events, various county events, and other forums, singing requested songs and the National Anthem. These songs included on this latest CD are those that are most often requested for her to sing to United States Service Members, their families, and their friends. She loves and thanks every American Service Member, and she dedicates this CD to them and to what they stand for and sacrifice for the citizens of the United States.
Each song on the CD is available on line, at iTunes, and at CD Baby. There are other Internet sources too. This would be the last event the former US President endorsed.
In 2004 The Department of Texas and The Department of Kansas Veterans of Foreign Wars voted the song “Friends Prayer” written by Trudy Andes Campbell as the “Official International Anthem”. Thousands of Veterans joined together at the event to honor the Kansas native and Trudy was later nominated as the United States Ambassador to the Troops. She has since traveled throughout the world where United States Troops are stationed to support the young men and women serving in the American Armed Forces, of which she has dedicated the official memorials for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of freedom.
